Training built for the player in front of us

No templates, no cookie-cutter packages. Every Roots athlete trains on a plan built for their age, their ability, and their goals.

Player Development — Semi-Private & Group

Core

Pitching and hitting development built around your athlete. Training happens in semi-private groups of 2–4 and hour-long group lessons — individualized coaching with the competition and energy that drive results. Every athlete starts with an evaluation and leaves every session knowing exactly what to work on next.

  • Required initial evaluation & development plan
  • Semi-private groups of 2–4 & group lessons
  • Data + video + feel — progress you can see

Structured Throwing Programs

Arm care is the most important investment a young pitcher can make. Throwing programs are workload-managed and periodized — building velocity and durability without cutting corners on health.

  • Workload management by age
  • Velocity development done right
  • In-season & off-season plans

Video Analysis & Review

Core

Athletes learn faster when they can see it. Swings and deliveries are filmed, broken down, and reviewed together — and soon, delivered to your parent portal so the learning continues at home.

  • Slow-motion breakdowns
  • Side-by-side progress comparisons
  • Rewatchable in the parent portal (coming soon)

Recovery & Mobility

Core

Recovery is training. Mobility work, movement quality, and recovery habits are integrated into every athlete’s plan to keep them on the field and progressing.

  • Mobility routines by age group
  • Habit coaching: sleep & preparation
  • Long-term durability focus

Remote Training & Programming

Development doesn’t stop when the session ends — and it doesn’t require living in Huntsville. Individualized in-season and off-season programming delivered through the Trainerize app, with video feedback and week-to-week accountability wherever your athlete is.

  • In-season & off-season programming
  • Delivered through the Trainerize app
  • Video check-ins & feedback

  • Straight answers, no upselling

Baseball-Specific Strength

Age-appropriate strength training built for the demands of baseball — rotational power, sprint speed, and arm resilience.

  • Age-gated progressions
  • Power & speed development
  • Integrated with throwing workloads

Rapsodo & TrackMan Integration

Core

Ball-flight data takes the guesswork out of development. Pitch design and swing decisions backed by the same tech used in pro ball.

  • Objective baselines & retests
  • Pitch design sessions
  • Data feeds your athlete’s progress record
